The Spotfin Reef Butterfly is a beautiful, eye-catching fish that is also simple to care for. Its striking coloration is characterized by a white body with bright yellow pelvic and caudal fins, and a narrow yellow bar that extends from the gill to the base of the pectoral fins. Additionally, a vivid black, vertical bar can be seen passing through the eye, and juveniles exhibit an extra dark spot on the base of the anal fins and a shadowy streak that leads to the small spot on the dorsal fin.
