The Arc Eye Hawkfish is a species of hawkfish with an unmistakable appearance. It has an orange body and a white horizontal bar on the back half. The operculum and eyes are particularly striking, exhibiting an alternating blue and bright orange pattern. This marine fish is an excellent addition to any saltwater aquarium, providing vivid color and a unique presence. A 30 gallon or larger aquarium is the ideal environment for an Arc Eye Hawkfish. It should be the last fish introduced into the tank community as it can become very territorial and harass new additions to the tank. It is important to note that larger fish can also be at risk. The Arc Eye Hawkfish require a diet that includes crabs, shrimp, anemones, and smaller fish, so it is important to make sure the tank can accommodate all of these dietary needs.
